Laurel Burch (December 31, 1945 - September 13, 2007) of San Francisco made pretty, enameled and inlaid jewelry (and other art work even earlier) in the 80's and 90's of usually either 12k gold-filled/sterling silver/niobium and all jewelry is finished by hand.
Solid figure has black and red enameling with gold color metal back, frame and inlay and is about 1 1/8" long by 3/4" wide and hangs down from an ear wire that is about 1 1/4" in length.

Please check to make sure the enameling is very secure and then have it gently cleaned by a jeweler or collector who understands vintage jewelry - IF you want it cleaned.
