This 1950's or earlier, vintage jewelry is the perfect, fresh color palette for Spring with it's various shades of green, a splash of yellow and a touch of white !
The 7 strand necklace has a J-hook clasp that is stamped "Japan"
The marble like beads and the tiny, round beads are glass I think and the others are Lucite and other early plastics.
The beads range in size from about 3/16" to 1/2" wide.
It is about 14 1/2" long at the shortest strand with a built-in extender of just over 3 inches long.
So, it can be worn from about 14 3/4" to about 17 3/4" long.
It is strung on cotton I think.
The clip earrings are about 7/8" across and are slightly domed out about 1/2" thick from the ear.
Also stamped "Japan" and are made of glass.
I see minor aging, wear and faint scratches... to this necklace (mainly to the tiny , round glass beads at the top) and the clip earrings.
This has been discounted as we are clearing out Mom's stash and I don't have the time to clean all of this vintage jewelry before I list it and this set could use a cleaning.
*Please check to make sure the beads and clasp... are very secure and then have the pieces of vintage jewelry gently cleaned by a jeweler or collector who understands vintage jewelry.
*All items are "as is" and there are no returns so please read the descriptions and see the photos before you buy.
