It closes with a fold-over clasp.
Approximate Width: 5/8 inch Length: 7 inches when clasped so will fit up to a 7 inch wrist, but it would be more comfortable on a slightly smaller wrist.
I see a small amount of normal wear from use as is expected of vintage jewelry.
This is reflected in the price.
Signed on clasp "Napier Pat. 4,774,743" which dates this to the late 1980's.
