3 Strand Aurora Borealis & Faux Pearl Necklace on goldtone - 1950's or 1960s Vintage Jewelry.
The necklace closes at about 17 1/2" the other 2 strands hang below slightly.
The fancy clasp is the pinch push/pull slide clasp and has the additional feature of 7 AB rhinestones to really sparkle and catch the eye.
The necklace is strung on nylon I think.
The faux pearls are in two styles - an off-white with a slight luster and a nugget style that is in a high luster finish.
They both are in several sizes from about 1/4" on the clasp to about 5/8".
The Aurora Borealis crystals (AB) (in three types that I see) range in size from about 3/16" to 1/2" across.
Some of the larger, lower luster pearls have metal, filigree endcaps.
There are small glass spacer beads in-between each of the larger beads.
I see no maker's marks or names.
Very pretty necklace, but if you look closely, you will see that it does show its age here and there, has a few wear spots and it could use a cleaning.
